"Tabidachi"

What does 旅立ち "tabidachi" mean? To "embark on a journey". Specifically, to embark on a cultural journey in which you learn and grow. Personally, it means that as I experience and research the ins and outs of Japan, I'll be able to share my thoughts and advice with you, while you, yourself, embark on your own cultural journey of growth and understanding.

The Author

So, who is this "danieeru"? Runa currently lives back and forth between her ranch in Illinois, USA and her Japanese fiancé's apartment in Osaka, Japan. She loves gaming, writing, bl, and tea.

Here on this blog, you can catch her writing about Japan; whether it's language, how-to tutorials, food and travel, shopping and tried-and-true products, and even Japanese cultural factoids found in one of her favorite games of all time (a game that, which, she has earned a world record on Speed Demos Archive), Fatal Frame III.

A huge nerd for Japanese culture and language, she's mega-excited to share her findings with you. <3
